Vincent Valentine ex-Turks |
| The son of Grimoire Valentine, Vincent grew up the become a member of The Turks. He was later assigned to oversee the Jenova Project stationed at Nibelheim. During his stay he fell in love with a scientist by the name of Lucrecia Cresent, but was rejected over her guilt born when his father died saving her life. When she entered a relationship with Hojo, he colegue, and later her and her unborn child were deemed to be used as subjects in the Jenova Project, Vincent protested and eventualy confronted Hojo. |
The confrontation ended with Vincent being shot down and then, barely alive, being placed in a capsule for experimentation. During these experiements his body became mutated and he became the host for Chaos.
After being subdued and put to sleep by the Proto Materia, he awoke filled with rage and anguish over his new body, and sealed himself in a coffin for 30 years of punishment for his "sin" of failing to save Lucrecia.

| A male turk known only as Rod, named after his weapon, a retractable metallic rod similar to Reno's. As an ex-gang member from Midgar, he enjoyed fighting other gangs, becoming highly skilled in hand to hand combat. He also enjoyed stealing motorbikes, becoming proficiant in riding and fixing them. Unfamiliar with failure and blinded by his ever growing confidence he decided to sneak into Shin-Ra's parking garage and steal a bike from the company, |

but was quickly arrested by Reno. Verdot, realizing his skills could be usefull, offered him a position in the organization. |

Verdot ex-Turks |
| The leader of the organization called The Turks, a position later taken up by Tseng, his offficial title is "Head of Department of Administrative Research." He is very strict when it comes to matter relating missions, bordering on servere when it comes to failure. And though many of his subordinates are intimidated by this serverity, they also deeply respect him. Formerly a resident of the town Kalm. |
he had a daughter and wife he believe perished when the town burned to the ground due to his misinterpreted commands. In actuality, his daughter survived to become the leader of AVALANCHE.
He cares very deeply for The Turks, and does not wish them to suffer events similar to what he has. He also cares very much for his daughter, defecting from Shin-Ra when he discovers she is alive. |
