Son of the late President Shin-Ra, Rufus was regarded by his father as dangerous, and kept far away from Shin-Ra affairs despite his roll as Vice president. he believed strongly by ruling the public with fear, and was scornful to his fathers aproach to things. since his father was killed he has spent his time as president tracking Sephiroth in the hopes he would lead him to The Promise Land.
This leads him up to Northern Crator where he is unable to confront Sephiroth and retreating, saving clouds party(but not Cloud) as Sephiroth summoned Meteor.
Ironicly seven days later he ordered Cloud's party to be put to death live, as a warning to the public. But it was foiled due to a mutiny of the Highwind started by Cid, who then rescued Tifa. He was last seen during the Diamond Weapon attack and was presuemed dead.
he showed up some time later, this time, in stark contrast to his other roll, as trying to rebuild the world, with the words "Shin-Ra has a debt to pay." It was also later revealed his wheelchair and cloak were a disguise to hide Jenova's head, but that he was seriously injured from the weapon attack.
Reno
A prominant figure of The Turks, Reno is known for his laid back, carefree attitude, most noticable in his messy hair, unzipped suit, and untucked shirt. But despite theses facts he takes a feirce pride in his job, with fighting skills far above the average human. he weilds a retractable metallic rod able to deal electrical shocks. Seen in various places like the church in the sector 5 slums
(where he instructs his subordinates to be careful not to step on the flowers after stepping on them himself). And later activiating the bombs that take down the Sector 7 pillar.
He appears two years after the defeat of Sephiroth, teamig up with AVALANCHE to fight Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz(The spirit forms of Sephiroths Will.
Rude
The quiet, stoic member of The Turks, he is oddly enough paired with Reno, the exact opposite of his personality, the only trait in common being their casual attitudes about their jobs. Most noticable by his trade mark glasses(Which he carries spare pairs of apparently), he usually lets Reno do the talking, becoming uncomfortable when brought into a conversation.
A superb hand to hand fighter, he reveals to Reno he has a slight crush on Tifa, a martial artist like himself.
He appears later with Reno to fight Yazoo and Loz, preparing the bomb that takes them out on the highway. Apparently his quiet attitude is the result in a failed relationship between him and a woman named Chelsea, who turned out to be an AVALANCHE spy.
She fell in love with him also but left because they were on different sides. He took it badly especially since he didn't get to say goodbye, and has become withdrawn emotionally ever since.
Tseng
The stern but polite leader of The Turks, he is known for his calm composure and level headedness. Although he is still young he has been an active member of The Turks for over ten years. He has also known Aerith Gainsborough since she was a small child, and seems to have developed special feelings for her, though hints lead us to believe they start to shift to Elena later.
Tseng is the only Turk not fought by AVALANCHE, though he is almost fatally wounded by Sephiroth during an investigation of the Temple of the Ancients, and mistakingly thought dead.
He reappears later having recovered the head of Jenova from North Crator, and rescued Rufus from his fall during the fight with Kadaj.
Elena
The child of a Shin-Ra Military Academy teacher, she at first wanted nothing to do, and even resented The Turks, mainly because he sister had outperformed her. But a later encounter with them convinced her to join the group, attaining her position as newest recruit when Reno was injured while fighting AVALANCHE.
Though naive, impetuous, and overeager,
with a loose tongue that sometimes causes her to leak secret information,
she takes her job much more seriously than Reno and Rude.
Often becoming agitated with their laid back attitudes. She also gained a crush on Tseng, holding Cloud's party accountable for the injuries he suffered at the hands of Sephiroth.
She makes a short appearence later with Tseng recovering the head of Jenova, and rescuing Rufus from a fall.
